The Mall at Millenia

Orlando’s The Mall at Millenia (often referred to as The Millenia Mall or Millenia) is an indoor retail mall located off of Interstate 4 (exit 78) at Conroy Road, near the northern end of International Drive. Opening in 2002 now features over 150 businesses, including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Neiman Marcus, which has a location that looks similar to the one at International Plaza and Bay Street in Tampa, Florida. The gross leasable area (GLA) is 1,118,000 ft2 (103,866 m2).

Shopping at The Mall of Millenia is the most premium shopping destination in the Orlando area, bringing travelers looking for high-end stores from all over the world. These include tourists from European countries as well as Brazil, China, and Russia. The Macy’s store was the first in Central Florida, and it continues to be the largest, as the other Macy’s stores in Orlando were converted from Burdines stores, as is the case throughout the state. Bloomingdale’s and Neiman Marcus are also regional firsts, and these remain their only locations in the Orlando area

The Mall at Millenia first opened its doors in 2002, with the present anchors as tenants. Located in Troy, Michigan, the mall is owned by The Forbes Company, which also operates The Gardens Mall and a larger shopping center known as the Somerset Collection. As a model for the Mall at Millenia, the Somerset Collection served as an inspiration. Somerset was developed by JPRA Architects, and the Mall at Millenia was no exception. It boasts award-winning lighting by Paul Gregory (Focus Lighting) and glass elevators and water fountains. Kiosks are not available at any mall.

When the mall initially opened, there wasn’t much else to do in the nearby neighborhood besides shop for clothes. Since then, the neighborhood has become known as “Millenia” and has emerged as the main attraction for business and leisure travelers. A large number of apartment and condo complexes, single-family houses, and corporate office buildings have sprouted up around the mall in recent years.

All of these exceptional retail options are surrounded by compelling architecture, beautiful glass ceilings, and unique art pieces, resulting in an unbeatable shopping experience. This award-winning mall, distinguished by its style, elegance, and a wide variety of stores. Contact the mall at (407) 363-3555 or visit their website at www.MallAtMillenia.com for extra information. A short drive from the theme parks, the convention center, and Orlando International Airport, the Mall at Millenia is a convenient shopping destination.
