Craig Regional Park

This 4.2-kilometer moderately trafficked loop path located that is located in the Fullerton, CA area, provides opportunities to watch animals and is suitable for hikers of all ability levels. Craig Park Walkabout Route is a moderately trafficked circular trail with a total length of 4.2 kilometers. Route users can choose from a variety of activities on the trail, which is open all year. Dogs are permitted to use this trail, but they must be on a leash.

The construction of Craig Regional Park, which opened in 1974, was marked by undulating hills, a diverse collection of mature trees, open space, a small lake, three year-round creeks, and a rose garden, among other features. This one-of-a-kind scenery contributes to the overall feeling of tranquility and beauty. In addition, there are numerous pathways, picnic tables, and park chairs sprinkled throughout the park’s 124 acres, which provide plenty of shade.

Craig Regional Park

Several types of recreational possibilities are offered in Craig Regional Park, including open and shaded turfgrass, as well as picnic tables and grills. Trails for bicycling and hiking/walking are also available for the delight of visitors. A three-acre lake attracts a large number of migratory waterfowl each year. Fishing for catfish and bluegill in California is permitted, purchasing a Fish and Game License. It is also permissible to launch model radio-controlled sailboats from the dock.

The park is also a wildlife sanctuary, and it is a favorite location for birdwatchers because of its abundance of birdlife. Six picnic shelters and two group spaces with tables and barbecues provide shade for visitors. Apart from that, picnic tables and barbeques spread across the property. In addition, three softball fields, one baseball field, jogging pathways, and a sports complex with basketball, volleyball, and racquetball/handball courts, as well as horseshoe pits, are available at the park for leisure activities. 

There are no soccer fields available at this time. There are three tot lots available for children as well. On weekends and holidays, shelters and group areas can be arranged in advance.
